WK 1 Exploration: Start a Blog & Tell a Story

  

     Before I started Fullsail I lived in New York City for fourteen years pursuing an acting career. I had always thought I wanted to be on Broadway, performing in front of packed houses and living the dream. But then the paradigm changed and well paying union jobs started shrinking by the day as youtube and social media became the new norm to get agency representation. Because of that I started working more and more in the restaurant and bar industry. Because of that I started climbing the corporate ladder as management in some of the nicest venues in Manhattan. Because of that my performance career died and along with it the dream I once worked so hard to achieve so I could pay my own bills in my 20's. Until finally I quit Hospitality and eventually found a job broadcasting E-Sports tournaments for Mixer.com at the Microsoft flagship store on 5th Avenue. And ever since I decided to pursue my passion for Media by taking a leap of faith and enrolling in the Dan Patrick School of Sportscasting and starting a new life in Orlando.
